The Fear & Greed Index is computed by Coinmico from our own history of the largest assets. No third-party sentiment score is used.
Components
| Component | What it measures |

| Momentum | Price against a long baseline |
| Volatility | How violently the market is moving |
| Breadth | The share of coins rising |
| Turnover | Volume relative to market cap |
| Bitcoin dominance | Whether money is retreating to BTC |
| Altcoin momentum | How altcoins perform against bitcoin |
The components are combined into one score from 0 (extreme fear) to 100 (extreme greed).
Note: the index describes market mood. It is not a signal to buy or sell.
