Disclaimer
Coinmico publishes market data for research, not advice. This page explains what we do and do not promise about that data, and how advertising, sponsored placements and affiliate links work on the site — including the line we keep between commercial arrangements and the figures we compute.

1.Scope of this disclaimer
This disclaimer applies to coinmico.com, every page, chart, widget and embed served from it, the market data API, and any newsletter, social post or message published in the Coinmico name. It sits alongside our terms of service and privacy policy; where a topic is covered in more detail there, those documents govern.
If you use anything we publish, you accept the limits described below.
2.No investment advice
Coinmico publishes market data for research and information. Nothing on the site is investment, financial, legal, accounting or tax advice, a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset, an offer or solicitation, or an assessment of whether an asset is suitable for you. We do not know your circumstances and we do not tailor anything to them.
Rankings, trending lists, gainers and losers, screener results, categories, heat maps, sentiment indices and any prominence a coin gains on the site are the output of published rules, not an endorsement. Read the methodology before drawing conclusions from any figure.
Decisions you make with our data are yours alone. Consider taking advice from a professional who is licensed in your country before you act.
3.Market risk
Crypto assets are volatile and speculative. Prices can move sharply in minutes, liquidity can disappear, tokens can lose all value, and projects, protocols and exchanges can fail, be hacked or block withdrawals. You can lose the whole amount you put in.
Past performance, historical charts and any figure describing what already happened say nothing about what will happen next. Regulatory treatment of crypto assets differs by country and can change with little notice; whether you may lawfully hold or trade an asset is your responsibility to establish.
4.Accuracy of the data
We compute our own reference prices, volume, market capitalisation, candles and rankings from trades we collect ourselves, and we work to keep them correct. We do not promise that any figure is accurate, complete, current or uninterrupted. Data can be wrong or missing because a venue reports incorrectly, a stream drops, a chain reorders blocks, a supply figure changes, an asset is thinly traded, or because of a fault of our own.
Figures are provided as they stand at the moment you load the page and may be revised without notice when we find a better measurement. Where we cannot measure something reliably we leave it blank rather than estimate it. Coinmico is not a source of settlement, valuation or reference prices for contracts, funds, tax filings or audits.
If a number looks wrong, tell us and we will check it — [email protected].
5.Third-party content and links
Some material on the site comes from outside Coinmico: project descriptions and metadata, logos, news headlines and summaries, holder counts from public block explorers, and fallback quotes for long-tail assets. We label external and fallback data where it appears. We do not control it and do not adopt it as our own.
Links to exchanges, wallets, protocols, explorers, articles and other sites are provided for convenience. We do not vet those services, do not monitor them after linking, and are not responsible for their content, terms, fees, security or conduct. Follow a link and you deal with that operator, not with us.
6.Advertising and sponsored placements
Coinmico may sell advertising and sponsored placements on the site. It is how a free market data service pays for the infrastructure behind it. When we do, we hold to the following rules.
- Every paid placement is labelled — for example “Ad”, “Sponsored” or “Promoted” — so it is distinguishable from editorial and from data we compute.
- Payment never buys a position in a ranking, a market cap, a price, a trending slot, a screener result or any other computed figure. Those follow the published methodology only.
- Payment never buys a listing. Coverage is decided by the criteria in our listing process, and an advertiser that fails them is not listed.
- Advertisers do not get access to your account, your watchlist, your portfolio or your alerts.
- We may refuse or remove any advertisement, and we do not knowingly accept advertising for fraudulent schemes or guaranteed-return offers.
An advertisement is the advertiser’s statement, not ours. We do not verify the claims in it, do not endorse the product or asset it promotes, and are not a party to any dealing you have with the advertiser.
7.Affiliate links and commissions
Coinmico may take part in affiliate and referral programmes. Under those programmes we may earn a commission, a share of fees, a bounty or another payment when you open a link, register an account or transact with a partner. You pay nothing extra for using our link, and in some programmes the partner offers a fee discount instead.
Where a link is commercial we mark it, and the presence or size of a commission has no effect on any of the following:
- The reference price, volume, market capitalisation or candles we publish for any asset.
- The rank or score of an exchange, pool or venue anywhere on the site, including exchange and DEX pages.
- Whether an asset appears in trending, gainers, losers, categories, the screener or search results.
- Whether a coin or venue is covered at all.
We are not the counterparty to anything you do with a partner. Their fees, terms, custody arrangements, jurisdictional restrictions and security are theirs, and any dispute is between you and them. Check whether a partner is permitted to serve users in your country before you sign up.
8.How the service is funded
For transparency, this is how commercial arrangements may relate to the site, and what they can never touch.
| Arrangement | What it can and cannot affect |
|---|---|
| Display advertising | Can affect which banner or slot you see. Cannot affect any computed figure, ranking or listing decision. |
| Sponsored or promoted placement | Can add a labelled placement in a defined slot. Cannot reorder organic tables or change a coin's rank. |
| Affiliate or referral link | Can pay us a commission when you use it. Cannot affect prices, venue scores, coverage or which assets we surface. |
| Data licensing and API agreements | Can grant a customer higher quotas or a commercial licence. Cannot change the data other users receive. |
| Listing submissions | Free. A submission is assessed on the published criteria; there is no paid fast track for coverage. |
If we ever change this model, we will change this page with it. See also our listing process and FAQ.
9.User content, baskets and profiles
Public profiles, baskets, notes and any other material a user publishes on Coinmico express that user’s view. We do not verify it, do not endorse it, and it is not advice. Performance shown for a basket or portfolio is arithmetic on the holdings entered, not a track record we have audited, and it says nothing about future results.
10.Availability and forward-looking statements
The site, the API, streams and alerts are provided as they are and as available. We may change, suspend or withdraw any feature, and outages, delays and maintenance happen. Statements about what Coinmico plans to build or support are intentions at the time of writing, not commitments.
11.No advisory or fiduciary relationship
Using Coinmico creates no advisory, brokerage, agency or fiduciary relationship between you and us. We are not an exchange, broker, dealer, wallet, custodian, fund, issuer or investment adviser. We never hold client funds, never take deposits and never ask for a private key, a seed phrase or a wallet signature. Any message claiming otherwise in our name is fraudulent — report it to [email protected].
12.Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Coinmico is not liable for trading or investment losses, lost profits, lost opportunity, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, the data, an advertisement, an affiliate link or any third-party service reached through us. The full limits, and the rights that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you, are set out in our terms of service.
13.Questions, corrections and complaints
Data corrections and product problems go to [email protected]. Advertising, sponsorship, affiliate and licensing enquiries go to [email protected]. Legal notices go to [email protected]. We update this page when the way we fund the service changes, and the date at the top always reflects the current version.
