Terms of service
These terms govern your use of coinmico.com, the market data we publish and the API we expose. They set out what the service is, how it may be used, what we do not promise about the data, and how the agreement ends.

1.The agreement
These terms form a binding agreement between you and Coinmico (“Coinmico”, “we”, “us”) covering coinmico.com, every page and widget served from it, and the market data API. By visiting the site, creating an account or calling the API, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
Our privacy policy forms part of this agreement, and our methodology describes how the data you see is produced.
2.Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough under the law of your country to enter into this agreement, to use an account. You may not use the service if sanctions or the law of your country prohibit it, and you are responsible for complying with the rules that apply where you are.
3.What Coinmico provides
Coinmico publishes market data it measures itself: reference prices, volume, capitalisation, candles, exchange and pool activity, rankings and derived statistics, together with tools to watch, screen and compare assets. The service is informational.
We may add, change or withdraw features, endpoints, coverage and limits at any time, and we may run the service in degraded form during maintenance or an incident.
4.Accounts and security
An account is personal to you. Keep your password and API keys confidential, use a password you do not use elsewhere, and tell us promptly if you believe either has been exposed. You are responsible for what happens under your account and your keys.
You must give an email address you control and keep it current. Do not impersonate another person or organisation, and do not choose a username or profile that suggests an affiliation you do not have.
5.Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Circumvent, disable or interfere with rate limits, quotas, caching or any other technical protection, including by rotating addresses, keys or accounts to obtain more capacity than your limits allow.
- Scrape or otherwise extract the data at a scale that degrades the service for other users, or reproduce a substantial part of our data so as to offer a competing aggregation of it.
- Probe, scan or attack the service or its infrastructure, or attempt to reach data that is not yours.
- Upload or publish anything unlawful, misleading, defamatory, infringing or intended to promote an asset by deception, including through profiles, baskets or submissions.
- Use the service to build a product that presents our figures as another party's own measurements, or that removes the attribution required below.
- Resell, sublicense or redistribute the API output as a data feed.
Reasonable, good-faith automated access within the published limits is welcome. If you need more capacity than the limits allow, ask us instead of working around them.
6.API and API keys
API keys are issued to your account, are subject to hourly quotas, and may be rate limited, throttled or revoked if a key is abused or shared. Endpoints, response shapes and quotas may change; we will avoid breaking changes where we reasonably can, but we do not guarantee a stable interface.
Where you display our figures publicly, attribute them to Coinmico and do not present them as your own measurements or as an official figure of an exchange or issuer.
7.Content you submit
You keep ownership of what you submit — profile details, baskets, coin submissions, votes and messages. By submitting it you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display it for the purpose of operating and promoting the service, for as long as you keep it on the site.
You confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it does not infringe anyone's rights. We may remove content, hide a profile or reject a submission that breaches these terms, is inaccurate, or cannot be verified — and we are not obliged to publish anything.
8.No investment advice
Nothing on Coinmico is investment, financial, legal, accounting or tax advice, an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any asset, or a recommendation or endorsement of any asset, exchange or strategy. Rankings, trend lists, sentiment, alerts and screens are statistics, not opinions about what you should do.
Crypto assets are volatile and can lose all of their value. You are solely responsible for your own decisions, and you should take independent professional advice before acting.
9.Data accuracy and availability
Market data is produced by automated systems from exchange streams, on-chain events and public sources. It may be delayed, incomplete, interrupted or wrong, venues may misreport, and a value shown as measured by us may be corrected later. Figures marked as fallback or stale come with that caveat for exactly this reason.
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the data is accurate, complete or current.
10.Third-party services and links
The site links to exchanges, block explorers, news outlets, wallets and social networks, and shows information those parties publish. We do not control them, we do not endorse them, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, terms or conduct. Your dealings with them are between you and them.
11.Intellectual property
The site, its software, design, text, compilations of data and the methodology behind our figures belong to Coinmico or its licensors. These terms grant you no right in them other than the right to use the service as described here.
The Coinmico name, logo and wordmark may be used only as our brand kit permits. Asset names, logos and trademarks shown on the site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification.
12.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Coinmico and the people who operate it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, nor for lost profits, lost trading opportunity, lost data or loss arising from reliance on the data, whether the claim is in contract, tort or otherwise.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as liability for fraud.
13.Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Coinmico against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms, from content you submitted, or from your infringement of a third party's rights.
14.Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account from the account page, which removes your account data as described in the privacy policy.
We may suspend or terminate access, revoke keys or remove content if you breach these terms, if your use threatens the security or stability of the service, or if the law requires it. Where the circumstances allow, we will tell you why.
15.Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as the service develops. The effective date above always reflects the current version, and material changes are published here before they apply. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the revised terms; if you do not, stop using the service and delete your account.
16.Governing law and disputes
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of the service, are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which Coinmico is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction. This does not remove any protection that the mandatory consumer law of your own country of residence gives you.
Before starting proceedings, please write to [email protected] so we can try to resolve the matter directly.
17.General
These terms are the entire agreement between us about the service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it in connection with a transfer of the service. Notices to us go to [email protected]; notices to you go to the email address on your account or are published on the site.
Questions about these terms: [email protected].
