Dollar-cost averaging (DCA)
Buying a fixed dollar amount of an asset at regular intervals regardless of price.
Regular fixed-amount purchases buy more units when the price is low and fewer when it is high, producing an average entry below the average price over the period. It removes timing decisions and suits assets whose volatility makes single entries a gamble.
