Gas
The fee paid to a blockchain's validators to process a transaction, denominated in the chain's native coin.
Gas pays for computation and block space. It is a few cents on Solana, Base or Arbitrum and can be many dollars on Ethereum mainnet during congestion. A transaction that reverts — a swap that misses its slippage limit, for example — still pays gas.
