Trading volume relative to a base — Coinmico's Fear & Greed index compares current volume to the past week, signed by the direction of the move.
Heavy turnover into a rise reads as greed; the same turnover into a fall reads as fear. Volume relative to market cap is another turnover measure: below 1% a day is illiquid, above 30% suggests inflated or churned volume.
