A composite price for an asset built from several markets, used as a reference for pricing and for marking derivatives.
Coinmico's index price converts each venue's trades to US dollars, weights venues by recent measured volume, rejects outliers and settles the result continuously. Exchanges build their own index prices from a handful of spot venues to mark perpetual positions.
