Liquidity
How easily an asset can be bought or sold in size without moving its price.
On an order book, liquidity is depth near the price; in a pool, it is the size of the reserves. Volume is a rough proxy but can mislead: an asset with heavy volume on one thin venue has little real liquidity. Coinmico's admission rules for new coins require measured turnover across more than one market for this reason.
