Liquidity provider (LP)
A user who deposits tokens into a liquidity pool and earns a share of its trading fees.
LPs receive a position (or LP tokens) representing their share of the pool's reserves. Their return is fees minus impermanent loss. If the deployer of a new token holds the pool's LP tokens without a lock, they can withdraw all liquidity at once — the rug pull.
