Wick
The thin line above or below a candle's body marking the interval's high or low beyond the open and close.
Long wicks mark prices that were reached and rejected within the interval. In crypto, a long lower wick with heavy liquidations is the signature of a cascade: forced selling that overshot and snapped back.
