The token was distributed via a fair launch with no presale, private sale, or team allocation; the full fixed supply of 1,000,000,000 MOTION entered circulation at launch, and no further tokens can be minted. MOTION is the token of MOTIONISM, an internet meme project built around a recurring ASCII cat character, "The Motionist," and the slogan "nothing happens until something moves." The project publishes a written manifesto, animated content, and community media through its website and social channels.
