Rising dominance means bitcoin is outperforming the rest of the market, either because money is rotating into it or because altcoins are falling faster. Coinmico computes dominance over the assets it prices itself and uses its 30-day change as an input to the Fear & Greed index, where money crowding into bitcoin reads as risk aversion.
