Rug pull
A scam in which a token's creators withdraw the liquidity pool or dump their holdings, leaving buyers with an unsellable asset.
A deployer who holds a pool's LP tokens without a lock can remove both reserves in one transaction. Locked or burned LP tokens — verifiable on chain — remove that route; concentrated deployer holdings and unrenounced contract ownership leave others open. Coinmico's new-coin screen excludes most tokens that die within their first day.
