Yield
Return earned on crypto assets through staking, lending or providing liquidity, usually quoted as an annual percentage.
Yield always comes from somewhere: issuance, borrowers' interest, or traders' swap fees. A yield far above what those sources can pay is being funded by new deposits or by the token's own inflation, and ends when they stop.
